The report also previews Clive Barker’s next project, Anything But Ghosts. This upcoming film, a collaboration with Focus and Blumhouse Atomic Monster, follows two con artists who pretend to be ghost hunters. Their scam takes a dangerous turn when they encounter a real, malevolent entity.
The upcoming film, Obsession, features Inde Navarrette (known for Superman & Lois and Trap House) alongside Cooper Tomlinson. Tomlinson, who has a working relationship with Barker through Anything But Ghosts, will co-write and star in the movie. Despite a small production budget of just $750,000, Barker’s film Obsession has earned almost $100 million and continues to bring in money at the box office. This makes it one of the best films of 2026, regardless of how you measure success. It’s no surprise Barker quickly started working on a sequel, Anything But Ghosts, aiming to capture the same feel as Obsession.
